Aaron Tyler Hand is a Kansas City–born writer and poet now living in Portland, Oregon. His work spans poetry, criticism, and other forms of creative nonfiction. His debut poetry collection Floodchaser is available now thanks to Catamaran Literary Reader. You can hear him talk about poetry on The Personhood Project podcast. He holds a BA from the University of Missouri and an MFA in creative writing from Texas State University. When he isn’t drafting lines in the Notes app on his phone, he can usually be found watching birds through binoculars, playing silly sports on bikes, or making one last trip to the buffet.
